My pursuit of loan origination began when I realized I wanted to marry my girlfriend, Grace. During dinner with my future in-laws, as I asked for their daughter’s hand in marriage, they said yes—and then asked how I planned to provide for my future wife. In that moment, I realized it was time to take my career seriously.

Curious, I asked my future father-in-law how he became involved in the mortgage industry. He explained that I could build a career as a mortgage professional just like him. The idea immediately appealed to me—not only could I provide for his daughter, but I could also help families achieve one of the biggest milestones of their lives: homeownership.

That night sparked my passion for the mortgage industry. My future father-in-law, Justin Smith, offered to sponsor me at CBGC Mortgage if I earned my license. Since then, I have been diligently studying to become a licensed mortgage loan originator and partnering with realtors across Florida to provide clients with personalized home financing solutions.
